"An okay hotel with a very friendly staff."
The hotel is a simple hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Sadly, the WiFi is extremely shaky which, depending on needs, is a huge disadvantage.

"Fine for the price"
Got room for 2 adults and our large dogs for $51 on Expedia. We've paid more for worse. Room was clean, spacious, everything worked. Alert: This is a HOTEL, not a motel. I wouldn't have booked it, had I known that. Luckily, we got room on 1st floor and at least $13 off the price (lady in front of me paid $64 for same type room, 2 adults, no dogs). It was getting late and we were semi-desperate, so it was fine.

Pocket Guide: Santa Fe Espanola Hotels

Located along the Rio Grande, Espanola is a popular destination for rafters. The town is located within the Santa Clara Indian Reservation. In 1598, Spaniards settled north of modern-day Espanola and created the first Spanish-controlled capital in the territory. Its reign as a capital was short lived, as Santa Fe ultimately eclipsed Espanola. Nearby, Jemez Springs has mineral hot water baths.
