Large hotel with good leisure facilities and plenty of car parking. Was upgraded from a single to a double room - clean and pleasant although a little dated. Excellent plentiful breakfast. Very pleasant attentive staff, and plenty of them . Thanks for a pleasant break.

Arrived lunch time, checked in, was given room overlooking the bay - very nice.
Had a quick pint in the garden/ bar - very nice too.
Was out for football match and a night out. Arrived back and slept soundly in comfy bed and it was quiet night. Hot shower in morning, towels and washing toiletries provided. Team and coffee in room.
Cooked English breakfast was exactly that and very nice.
Staff were helpful, polite and cheery.

"Central but back enough from the hustle & bustle"
Stayed 1 night at Haytor Hotel whilst visiting an elderly relative in the area. It was a lovely place to stay after a long 10 hour journey through the night. Roger & Peter were welcoming from the start & the room was everything you could have wanted: delightful, comfortable with added touches. Good selection of wines in the bar, and a delicious hearty breakfast in the morning, served by a lovely friendly lady. Nothing too much trouble. Would revisit tomorrow & would gladly recommend Haytor Hotel. A bit of class.

Visited with our Grandson for three days in October. Previously advised the Guest House that we would be arriving early (with a view to dropping off our luggage and returning later) However, on meeting us, Alan the Proprietor, said that our room was ready and so we booked in.
Our room was clean and tidy, serving it's purpose for a short visit. The Breakfast was good, together with the friendly service which we also experienced in 2014.
Hoping to return in February next year.

The Riviera comprises three main towns: Torquay is the most fashionable and popular with a luxury marina, good beaches, and family attractions including a famous Model Village and the Kent’s Cavern. Paignton is a more traditional English resort, boasting a superb zoo. Brixham is not only a picturesque fishing harbour but one of Britain's busiest fishing ports. The adjacent area, the South Hams, is known as one of the prettiest in England.
