The comfort level was pleasant --I wouldn't say a 4 star but definitely a 3 1/2. The room was standard size. I enjoyed the oversized vanity in the bathroom. Also the fridge and microwave is always a nice bonus.

This hotel was recommended by a long time high school friend and it was not a bad location at all. I found it very handy for Jersey Gardens Mall and catching the bus into New York. Generally the hotel is clean and tidy, the staff helpful and the rooms very comfortable. They also offer a bus shuttle service for their customers, the buses are comfortable and air-conditioned. Breakfast at the hotel is very uninteresting - as it is just muffins, tea or coffee and this is al, plus there is no refectory or dining area. However International House of Pancake (IHOP) is just across the road and they do a sumptuous, satisfying range menus. I'd like to extend a massive thank you to Charlie for all his assistance during my stay and may return on my next visit to NJ.
There is one extremely vexing issue that I had at this hotel and that is the smoking, even though I was in as non-smoking suite, I felt like someone was and had been smoking in my room, as the cigarette smoke permeated through the walls and ceilings and smelt very strongly in my room, the lift and the lobby of the second floor where I was located.

Good for stay between flights, but only if the price is right. The hotel is ok, room was recently refurnished. However, AC was noisy, and the shower head was old. Small things... And $8 for for a bottle of water is a bit too much.

Stayed for 1 night but I've liked my experience at other Residence Inns. We were on the 1st floor near the lobby. We could hear many people talking loudly and there was some strange intermittent humming noise. Don't know if the walls were that thin or because of location. Would ask for a higher floor next time.

From Albanian to Uruguayan, Elizabeth’s residents represent more than 50 nationalities. This rich diversity is evident in the city’s neighborhoods and businesses. A Revolutionary War battle site, Union Square is now a busy Latin American district. This city’s shops are a major draw, such as the Jersey Gardens Mall. With more than 200 retailers, this shopping center is one of the state’s largest.
