Very nice and different from the norm of boring hotels, close to local town and bus station. Will recommend to a couple who wants a relaxing holiday but who wants to expore would recommend to go to somewhere else as it is out of the way of places to see.

The hotel was very quiet during our stay but it was only 5 nights in October so we don't know what it would be like in July or August. The room was fine (but don't turn the shower taps too far), the pool area was very relaxing, the bar/cafeteria was pleasant although hot breakfast choices were not replenished during the morning. We did not sample the adjoining restaurant.
We only had a short walk to reach the centre of Elche.

Third time I have stayed here and different experience each time. The weather was very warm and air conditioning only blew hot air so very uncomfortable. Staff did open a window but still very stuffy. Bathroom cleanliness poor, lots of hairs from previous guest/s. I did check in early though so this may have affected cleaning.
On one previous visit We did receive complimentary sweets and little bottles of water - on this visit - nothing. Hotel was extremely noisy, but it is City Centre? Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

I sent two e-mail to let the hotel know we would be arriving after midnight, ( the tine they will keep the room till ) I asked for a reply to confirm to my e-mail but I never received one back.
The staff on duty could not have been more helpful and pleasant, The noise from the service station was noticeable, but we were tired so it was not to bad, but it was handy to walk to and have a coffee and a snack before we set off on our journey.
Overall we would use this hotel again for overnight stops.

Elche is renowned for its magnificent palm forest, the only one of its kind in Europe, comprising over 300,000 century-old trees. These surround and infiltrate the whole city centre, giving it a cool shady feel. The best known area is the Huerto del Cura (The Priest’s Garden), home to the Imperial Palm, a huge seven-stemmed specimen. Elche is also famous for its Mystery Play (Misteri d’Elx) dating back to the mid 13th century, staged in August.
