The hotel is a bit too dated and in desperate need to a makeover. The bed was comfortable. They also had a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was very old and had a very strong odour. The breakfast area is very small and super crowded. Try to get to the breakfast before 8 otherwise u will be waiting a while. Overall you get what you pay for.

I had a bad experience several years ago with a Super 8 so have avoided it since, but I needed a last minute hotel and I thought I would give it another chance and I was pleasantly surprised. Price was reasonable and it was in a convenient location. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The price for a queen suite was only a few dollars difference from a standard room and it included a sofa bed and small kitchenette area with a mini fridge and a microwave.

It's conveniently located across from all the amenities you could need. The train tracks nearby aren't as much of a cause for concern as I had anticipated. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Every staff are friendly, especially Donnie from restaurant. He is the one who accommodate us for our breakfast. He is so friendly, offering coffee and ask us if we need something else. He is an asset of your hotel. Keep up the great job!

This isn't the Mac or the Westin - but if all you need is a comfortable room to spend the night, this Econolodge delivers. It ain't fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, the A/C and wi-fi worked well, all for under $100. Only complaint is the one ice maker was on the fritz.

South of Edmonton’s downtown core, and across the North Saskatchewan River, is the University of Alberta. The city’s most popular nightlife is found in the bars and restaurants along Whyte Avenue. The city’s vibrant theatre district is located here as well. Farther south, suburban developments and shopping malls mix with green space and golf courses.
