Chose this hotel after reading other good reviews and we were not disappointed. We had a fantastic sea view room with balcony. The room was spotless, and the staff could not be more pleasant and helpful, particularly when we needed some extra instructions to use the shower! The buffet style breakfast was also very good in the newly refurbished dining room. All in all a very good experience and would definitely return.

This hotel is quite central for beach restaurants and shopping. My wife and I stayed two nights B&B, this week, and we cannot fault it, our room was clean and warm and very quiet, staff were polite and helpful in every way, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening, food was good, staff attentive. We would certainly stay here again, the hotel has wonderful-happy and friendly atmosphere which makes one feel at home, and is very popular with local people for socialising.

Nice stay in Eastbourne at this hotel.
I will say however that the hotel is a bit on the tired side but it is warm, comfortable and not too dear for where it is (Eastbourne prom).
The town centre and eating places are within easy walking distance and the pier is almost in front of the hotel. I
recommend "The Black Pearl" just around the corner if you like seafood with an Italian flavour.
There is a lift in the hotel which is a boon if you're averse to climbing stairs for any reason(it's spread over four floors).
Nice cooked breakfast served by friendly staff.
Parking is a bit of a nightmare though due to the lack of their own car park and on street parking is very crowded plus you will need to get a permit from the landlady if you don't want to pay the exorbitant pay & display charges.
Check in ends at 10pm so make sure you're not late arriving.

Enjoyable stay close to amenities. Wide choices for breakfast. Friendly and lots of information available if needed on local attractions, maps and ideas etc. Would certainly return if in the area again.
