"Good location"
Apart from the fact that there a cockroach found in the room for one of the nights, the overall experience was okay. The location is extremely convenient. Staff at the reception desk are helpful. Late check-out could not be arranged - only half an hour buffer allowed and you will have to pay if you go beyond that.

"5 mins walk to nearest MRT station"
The room although slightly small, was well equipped with a comfortable bed and the toilet came with a bathtub plus a seat warmer and cleaner for the toilet bowl. The room has everything you'd expect from a clean, modern hotel. This hotel is around 4-5 stops away from taipei main station.

"Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei"
The hotel is very modern and polished. The staff from the concierge right up to the house keeping staff are all very polite, courteous and helpful. The room amenities are very good and the house keeping personnel makes sure that it is kept neat and tidy with everything in their various places. The restaurants that was serving breakfast can do with some improvements as the quality is mediocre given that this is such a posh hotel. The hotel is also very close to the rail subway and is very convenient to move about towards various parts of Taipei with much convenience during the day or the night.

Wonderful hotel with the friendliest staff. Everyone we interacted with made us feel at home. A couple of folks went beyond what was expected and made this our best vacation ever. The rooms and pool had unforgettable views of Taipei. These are the largest rooms I've ever stayed in!

"Nice downtown hotel close to the night market"
We spent four nights at the Royal Seasons in Taipei, and it was a pleasurable stay, especially considering the low rate. We sprung the extra $15 or so per night for a room with a window, well worth the investment. The bathroom was huge and had a big Jacuzzi tub. The Wi-Fi was temperament to log in to, and a pain to use. It worked for our mobiles, but not with my brand-new laptop (and trust me, I know my way around networks.) When it worked, it was slow and dropped a lot. We ended up using our cell phone bandwidth via SIMs we bought at the airport for a ridiculously low price. The staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a short walk away from a lively night market, and a bustling wholesale shopping district. If you insist on taking the subway, the hotel is a bit of a hike away from the station, but taxis are cheap and plentiful. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that takes you to the subway station, but we did not use it. On the next trip to Taipei, we would not hesitate coming back.

"Location is King for this place!"
Stayed there for 3 nights for a convention in Taipei. Hotel is near by Taipei main station and NTU hospital station metro, I have walked to both station from the hotel its about 6-7 mins to get to either station. Many eateries never by, there is a convenient store and Yamazaki bakery shop at the same block as the hotel. The place rocks! Staff are always friendly and willing to help you with your needs. Their open basement lounge where you check in are 24 hrs and there are always plenty free snacks, soft drinks, water and even cup noodles available for the grab. the room is clean, AC is strong, bed is comfy but a bit on the hard side which I personally prefered. I did not have noise issue at all where my room was located.I would definitely stay at this place again for my next trip. Great place for business traveler that doesn't just want to stay at some taiwanese business hotel, young couple is definitely great and ideal. The only complain is that the hotel has a strict check out at 12pm, they called me 3 times while I have told them I need about 15 mins to get everything ready to leave. But this is a hotel operation which I understand they need to follow their protocol and check out their guests. Anyone wants extention a late check out you maybe out of luck at this place.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
