I was looking for a cheap motel during a weekday near the airport to stay overnight. Nice renovated comfortable rooms. Washroom's cleanliness was 7/10. Wifi is extra ($3 for basic, $5 for premium), the basic is useless and ended up getting the premium. Can't ask for more for the price.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, but the GM, Chris, was extremely unpleasant. If he was just having a bad day, I'll give him a pass, but my interactions with him were quite unsettling. During check in, he answered the phone and berated a customer before hanging up on them. He saw there were three of us and accused me of only having a reservation for two people, then he saw I had reserved two rooms and just grumbled something giving us our keys. One of our room keys stopped working during our stay and we were terrified to go to the front desk to ask for help. Luckily, we were helped by the other staff member at the front desk.

This area has more lodging variety than The Strip. East of the Strip features both gaming and non-gaming properties that range from budget to luxury accommodations. Key attractions here include the Las Vegas Convention Center, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the McCarran International Airport, several office parks, and the Restaurant Row along Flamingo and Paradise roads.
