"Great City Center Hotel"
Ghent, Belgium is a really cool town! Much better than Bruges, in my opinion. Lots of historical buildings. Two rivers flow through town, like canals, with interesting boat tours. Must be careful driving, because pedestrians and bicycles are everywhere. Learned that the City Center is moving to No Cars in the near future. Not sure how that will work. Hotel Le Flandre is in two buildings. You check in at the older building, where there are some rooms. We stayed across the street in the newer building. There is a lift. Rooms are very spacious, 2x European standards. Underground public parking is only 2 blocks away at 11 Euros per day. Hotel is very convenient to City Center historic sites. Hotel provides maps and guides in multiple languages. Great place to stay.

"Nice modern hotel within walking distance of it al"
This hotel is very modern and quite luxury for Belgium and Europe in general. It reminds me a lot of the Marriot's I have stayed in the USA. The staff was nice, and the ammenities were nice as well albeit quite pricey. The room was not to expensive but the breakfast was 22 euro, way over priced if you ask me.

Parking is free in the hotel car park and on the road if you get a blue time disc from reception. Aimed at the business market really but a good price for a short stay. Pleasant and helpful staff, clean room, coffee maker and toiletries.

"Great no-frills hotel near the train station"
Very comfortable non-fancy hotel a few blocks from the railway station and close to the Number 1 tram line that goes to central Ghent. The staff provided good maps and directions to the central area and gave us information about an excellent free walking tour. We only stayed one night and took the train to the airport for our flight home, but the day we spent in Ghent was excellent. It is a Medieval city in the center with beautiful things to see and good beer to drink. The room was large and had everything you might need including lots of electrical outlets and lights. The bathroom was good and the bed very comfortable. Nothing is fancy or particularly stylish, but it's a good room at a good price.

"Hotel with parking, close to Citadel Park"
Easy to find, easy to park. Staff were very helpful and friendly, a really nice welcome to Ghent. The room was clean and the bed, comfortable. The only downside were the mosquitoes - evidently, other guests had been bothered by them, judging by the squished remains on the walls. We awoke with several bites. Other than that, would highly recommend the Hotel. There are hire bikes on site and a tram stop close by for getting into the centre of Ghent.

"Comfortable, convenient and good value..."
I arrived a bit earlier than expected and the lady kindly gave me a ground floor room (though still up a few stairs) as I had a heavy case and there's no lift to the first floor... the room is basic and not very big but has everything you need - the bed is comfortable and the room quiet... it's not so soundproofed but no wild parties to disturb and they seem to be quite concerned to warn guests not to make noise after 11pm. Breakfast is 12euro on top of the room cost - it's plentiful and good quality and served in a conservatory-like bar looking out on the courtyard garden. I was very happy with my stay. I would have liked a bigger bed had my husband been with me but I don't know what size the beds are in other rooms of course.

East Flanders is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in East Flanders, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your East Flanders hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
