One major disappointment was poor Housekeeping work on the 11th Floor, Tower 3. The bathtub contained some kind of blackish deposit/debris, which we removed with a washcloth. The bathroom floor was also dirty. Behind closed curtains, the window was open, which we did not notice until the next morning ... it made for a noisy night from traffic, seagulls, and airplanes from the nearby ANC Intertational Airport. Very troubling for my wife who is a very light sleeper.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our vacation. The hotel was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Liked that the window opened. Convenient location in downtown Anchorage and we could walk to museum and many restaurants. Their shuttle provided transport from train station and to the airport. Staff was very helpful.

Directly east is Chugach State Park, the nation’s third largest state park at a half-million acres. This nature preserve includes Thunderbird Falls, popular in the summer and winter. Nearby, Eklutna Village Historical Park gives a glimpse of Russian influence in Alaska.
