Very clean, large rooms and helpful staff. Hot breakfast is very high quality. Only misleading part is that the fitness facilities and pool are across the street in a different hotel. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Nice hotel. Overall very clean. Large rooms. Great soaker/jet tub for relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff had the king room but only had one sitting chair in the room along with a desk chair. One of you Will probably hangout on the bed. Nice tv and Wi-Fi for entertainment. Had supper in the bar and the house burger was very good, homemade chips were real good and fresh. Took a little bit to get the food but worth the wait. They advertise a business center but there was not one. The staff did offer to print our boarding passes if we wanted them to though. Pretty quit but there was a lot of activity outside and kind of noisy while the city/diamond center was removing snow. On the plus side the road cleared off when we got up in the morning. That was really the only negative of our stay. Having access to a business center would have been nice but not a real problem in today’s connected world.

Two large military bases—Fort Richardson and Elmendorf Air Force Base—are directly west of the Anchorage suburb of Eagle River. Directly east is Chugach State Park, the nation’s third largest state park at a half-million acres. This nature preserve includes Thunderbird Falls, popular in the summer and winter. Nearby, Eklutna Village Historical Park gives a glimpse of Russian influence in Alaska.
