The only negative remark is that there was no wifi signal in my room, so I had to step out and stay in the corridor close to the lobby to get the signal. I did tell them about this at the front desk and hopefully they will fix it.

"Spacious, modern room in a quiet area near airport"
My wife and I were well pleased with the large, clean modern room with high ceilings. Hotel is located in a quiet residential, business area with no shops nearby. Help at desk was excellent and cabs to airport were stationed outside in the morning. Breakfast buffet was available but pricey, so we opted for the plentiful, and reasonably priced airport food courts. Hotel is not as close to the airport as the Tryp hotel we stayed in Lisbon--it is a 20.50 euro by cab to Dusselldorf's state-of-the-art airport.

The train station is a quick walk and the Italian Restuarant above the station is the best meal Restaurant meal I've had in a couple of months. The pillows in the room are feather so if you have allergies you might need to request hyper allergic. The restaurant is the green cat or Verde Chat...or something like that.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel in April 2016. I was attending a trade fair in Dusseldorf and booked this hotel as it was close to the station for a short train journey into Dusseldorf (all hotels in Dusseldorf seemed to be fully booked or very expensive due to the trade fair). The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the train station; the journey into the main station in Dusseldorf takes 16 minutes (about 3 trains per hour).
The hotel has a pleasant foyer and the reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. I had a meal one night in the restaurant which was very nice, and breakfast one morning which was a reasonable quality standard hotel buffet breakfast.
My room was a good size and quiet. It was on the 3rd floor alongside the road, but there was no traffic noise during the night. The room was very warm and I had to open the window at night - not a problem as there was little noise. The bed was very comfortable. The décor was very plain and the carpet was very worn. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom when I arrived. This smell seemed to disappear later; I don't know if I just got used to it or it cleared because I opened the bedroom window. There was a small flat screen TV; the only English channel seemed to be BBC World.
