Great location and hotel. The only thing that let down the stay was smoking in the pool and the surrounding areas of pool. Not everyone is a smoker, this ruins the fun of the pool. Plus no place to sit in reception, there is a cafe but you have to order if you want to sit there.

This was a beautiful hotel with accommodating staff. We went for my birthday my cousin and I, and had the best stay. We felt very safe and relaxed during our stay and would stay again. Khodarahm the valet, was so nice and attentive!

we enjoyed a 3 night stay in the Shangri La Dubai. Every member of staff went above and beyond. The hotel is impeccable, food was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast had an almost exhaustive range to choose from, and the horizon club was brilliant. The room cleaning staff were top notch and I could not fault this hotel in any way. Stand out staff include chefs, doormen, and reception staff. A special mention to Keith and his manager in the Horizon club. They were so friendly, engaging and helpful with the perfect mix of friendly approachability and professionalism. Will most definitely return to this amazing hotel.
