"Hotel on the river"
The hotel is part of a new shopping center and is built along the river. It gives an easy access to the historical part of Drogheda just across the river. The hotel is comfortable but not luxurious. As you can expect in a new construction it does not have any charm. Overall it is a convenient place for an overnight stay.

"Lovely Irish Hotel"
Outstanding service and great location. The Irish are a fun loving bunch so if you're a light sleeper and there on a weekend, don't expect to get much rest .

"Good experience with one exception"
This B&B is in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room was small. We were not offered the use of a lounge area. The sunroom where breakfast was served was very nice. The one negative is that they billed our credit card for the room when the reservation was made but did not inform us that they were doing so. We felt this B&B was slightly over rated and over priced for it's location.

    Pocket Guide: Louth Drogheda Hotels

The area around Drogheda, on the banks of the River Boyne, has been settled for millennia and the town itself has existed since at least Norman times. Often the scene of major battles over the centuries, it is now best known for its thriving cultural scene. As well as the many theatres and galleries, Drogheda hosts an annual, week-long samba festival and the world's longest running graffiti event.
