The hotel is all you can ask for. Lovely spacious rooms, comfortable beds, several pools and a hot tub all make for a fantastic location. Things to consider are: no beach swimming (too many rocks), it is not convenient to downtown Cabo (they have a shuttle, free for some guests, which runs every 2 hours and stops at 10:30 pm) and the food is expensive. If you are on all-inclusive, it is not an issue, but if you are not, the value for money on all but breakfast is not there.
Overall a wonderful stay for our family.

Met a friend in Cabo for a ladies getaway. Hotel property is gorgeous with a great, relaxed feel. Super easy to get to room, pool, fitness center, beach, etc. Views are spectacular, truly. Enjoyed watching the local surfers catch incredible waves from the hotel and fitness room. Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Dined in every restaurant. First night at the restaurant that overlooks the pool. Food excellent. Third night at Manta. Wine and salad was great. Atmosphere really good/cozy. Steak entree missed the mark by miles. Steak was TOUGH, actually inedible. Very disappointing. The rest of meal was very good. Headed to Rooftop Bar after dining. NICE and FUN! Great music with lights and quite a show. Had a blast dancing and was lots of fun. Downside to property is that there is no coffee in the rooms. I like my java immediately. Not cool I have to dress and head to the coffee bar (THOUGH it is beautiful and the view in here is remarkable as well). Julio made a LOVELY coffee for me, "his way". Would recommend it! Then gave me great tips for in town dining. "Maria Jimenez" is a MUST!!!! Holy moly! Delicious! Unfortunately our phone in our room did not work well. But we texted someone who messaged us on our mobiles, and told them we needed room service. There was a knock on our door within two minutes. A gentleman was there to take our order. Coffee came quickly. Pool service and food at pool excellent. Loved the feel of this property.

The place was beautiful... our only complaint was our phone never worked. Even. After a repair man would come we could not get a dial tone for 2 days. It was a bummer that our "all inclusive" was disrupted!

"Nice hotel just a few blocks away from the beach"
The hotel staff were awesome! They took care of all of our needs and even helped us book activities in Cabo and were able to get us a discount. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice and affordable hotel. Nicest people ever!

Los Cabo's has plenty of resorts to choose from, most of them with beautiful views and great food. The Esperanza has both of these and more. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, the resort is peaceful and slow paced. On and on I could go about the views from the resort restaurants and pools. The hospitality at the Esperanza was the highlight of my vacation, treatment from the entire staff was second to none. You have to stay here to experience the attention to detail the provide about your stay with them. I look forward to returning to the Esperanza.

"So satisfied that I picked this hotel for my stay"
I am so satisfied and happy I stayed here! It was my first trip to cabo and I'm glad I picked a good hotel. The location is perfect! Literally in the heart of the marina and downtown. You walk out the back and you're located next to everything. I booked through Expedia and I was nervous I was gonna run into issues but luckily check in was a breeze. It was my first time doing all inclusive as well but I feel like it was worth it. The restaurants are right by the hotel along a strip. You just sign the check and show your wristband and all you gotta worry about is tip of course. I also booked activities through Expedia but upon getting out to the marina, there are a bunch of people offering deals. So I recommend not booking any water activities online and just waiting till you get there. We also took advantage of spa promos and the massages were so amazing that we went back a second time! I don't know about other people's experiences but the staff is friendly and nice! They were always helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. My room was clean and was always cleaned by the time we got back to the room! I'm happy I picked this hotel for my vacay!

Very nice within walking distance to everything however the room was pretty warm with the ac set at 65 felt more like 80. The party pool was a ways away from our pool which was a little inconvenient and the food was not the greatest however the people and vibe was amazing!

Very nice resort on the Pacific where you can't swim but close to Marina where there is a couple "beaches" you are allowed to swim near. The resort has daily activities and parties in the evenings where you can pay to attend all you can eat and drink. Resort restaurant food is OK and expensive. Best bet if you don't choose all inclusive is to go by the marina where there is tons of food and drinks for better prices. There's daily happy hour 2X day and if you have the right waiter, they will keep coming with drinks! The adult pool is nice and quiet. Overall, my significant other and I really enjoyed our stay for the week at Playa Grande.

Pocket Guide: Los Cabos Downtown Cabo San Lucas Hotels
Literally at Land’s End, Cabo San Lucas sits at the southern tip of Baja California. Here, the Sea of Cortés and the Pacific Ocean meet at the famous Land’s End rock formation (El Arco). Nearby, Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor) offers superb snorkeling. Although popular for its world-class golfing and sportfishing, Cabo’s after-dark clubs are a rival draw, such as Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina.
