I would put this property right up there with the very best I've stayed at for both personal and business travel. Our family of 5 stayed in a two bedroom condo in the Grand Resort and it was very large, with two huge bathrooms and a very nice kitchen. The water park is very nice with excellent food and full bar.. and the prices were actually pretty good. Floating in the lazy river as a family will be a great memory.
Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful. We were there off-season so pretty much had the place to ourselves. Bikes can be rented at the water park and it's a great area to ride.
One thing to keep in mind is if you book through a 3rd party, you will probably need to check-in off site. This caused a little confusion upon arrival, but Cindy from 1791 Vacation Experience was nice and helpful.

overall the experience at this hotel was very nice. The employees that work the front desk for me are what makes or breaks a hotel experience. You could have the nicest hotel, but if the service is horrible, you've lost my interest. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment you walk in the doors you are greeted by the hotel staff. The hotel lobby is beautiful. I went down with some friends of mine, and we weren't going to be spending our time in the room except for sleeping, as we would be at the parks all day. This hotel had just what we needed. The rooms were very clean each day, and they had a very nice continental breakfast included in the price. We truly enjoyed the pool, which was a nice touch. You can see that the hotel is a little on the older side, with a needed upgrade on the exterior, but nothing that deterred us from staying. I would definitely stay again, given the great location to all the parks and other attractions as well.

Nice resort for the price. A car is a must for park travel and shopping.
Best times to stay are weekdays, weekends are overly crowded. Kids will enjoy the pool areas. Just remember the weekends are crowded. Schedule off season stays.

Very convenient to Disney property and off property restaurants and groceries. Great choice if you don't want to be living on top of each other for a week long vacation. Room was what we expected. Closet folding door was broken and off hinge, but we didn't care and just notified front desk so we weren't charged. Stayed in 2 bedroom and was very spacious. Was a little annoyed that they called us mid-week asking if we wanted to tour their sister property (I am sure for timeshare), but told them we would not have time and they did not push it. Front desk was very friendly and responsive to all suggestions and requests. Kids loved the pool and hot tub.

At a luxury hotel where a night's stay is normally higher than standard hotels, the industry standard is to additionally add on top of the higher rate, parking fees, resort fees and internet fees. Not so at the Reunion Resort. My rate included free self parking, free internet and no resort fee for use of the hotel amenities. My villa was a huge one BR with a full kitchen, shower and big soaking tub. The view from my window was that of what appears to be an excellent golf course. The staff is fantastic and the servers in the one restaurant I ate at - Forte - were especially courteous and cheerful. This resort has everything. While I traveled alone on this trip, it's clearly a great place for families. We will be back.
