Was in Copenhagen recently as a stop over until our cruise ship was leaving. We stayed at the incredible new AC Marriott Sky hotel Copenhagen. This hotel is excellent. The staff, restaurant, room, and view is really exceptional. I would suggest to anyone travelling to Copenhagen to book your room here.

The Hotel was suggested by a colleague. It is a short drive to DTU which I had planned to visit. To get to the city of Copenhagen you need to walk (15 minutes) or take the bus to the local train station. From there it is about 30 minutes to the city. Overall a pleasant experience but I think a bit pricey for the location.

Sara, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
The view from our room, facing the sea , was breathtaking.
Breakfast buffet, that was included in our room price was outstanding.
The Restaurant in hotel overpriced and food not well made, tasteless.
Not good ventilation in the room.
The pool area was too hot to be enjoying .

Nice (business) hotel miles from civilisation. Ample free parking and friendly staff. UNPLUG YOUR PHONE - we were woken on 2 consecutive mornings at 05:30 with a wake-up call (also got a taxi call at 06:30) intended for another room. Staff unable to rectify the problem as no management or technical staff available!

The back-street location tests your sat-nav, as does the narrow access point. Key pick-up is via a locked box which you are given the combination to with the keys in labelled envelopes.
We were in the main block with 6 rooms around a communal kitchen area, there are also 6 independant rooms. The communal area feels a bit like a Youth Hostel and is well equiped; whether you end up talking to other guests beyond a quick "go-morgen" is up to you.
The rooms have a part mezzanine floor with 2/3 beds upstairs, plenty of space overall but a little inconvenient with a large table and two chairs. Anyone sleeping upstairs needs be confident up and down ladders.

I loved this hotel. It is very much Scandinavian style: a lot of wood, in the middle of nature, somewhat simplistic, but very functional room. Super friendly staff -- this may just be the friendliest staff I have ever seen.. and I stayed in over 500 hotels. Very safe location. Excellent breakfast. Bear in mind, this hotel is in a small village, and there is very little to do there. It is easily accessible from the highway, however, and there is a bigger town (Haslev) not far away (grocery shopping). If you are looking for a quiet, safe, lovely, place during your journey in Denmark, this is it.
