The hotel was ok,but was looking a bit tired in places and in need of some tlc. The staff though were helpful and pleasant. Our main gripe with resort was that despite being sold as an activities resort at the time we went(early October) everything was closed, including chair lift, which gave access to many hikes and views. This was fact was not indicated when hotel/resort was booked. Our visit was rescued by me playing golf for first time in 10 years on a well maintained shortish but challenging course. The golf staff were very helpful

Although it appears recent efforts have been made to improve matters, this facility is shabby and worn. There was a long hair (not mine) in my bathtub, and some dried ketchup splatters on the nightstand, calling into question the cleaning process. There is no lamp on the nightstand, and the receptacle near the bed was missing 1/3 of the cover plate. The plumbing is noisy, and the internet was slow in my room.
That said, check-in was a breeze, the gentleman at reception was courteous and efficient, there appeared to be some work being done on the WiFi, and the bed was comfortable. Since I reserved the room at a sale price of < $50, I am happy with my overall value.
