When we booked the hotel, we knew we were heading into a possibly bad situation - especially from the reviews. We had two rooms (2 queen beds in each), but a booking error led to one of those rooms upgrading to a king, which was freely provided by the hotel manager. The king room was wonderful, but the other was BAD (iron burns on the carpet, dirty carpet, & the refrigerator smelled like paint thinner). After talking to the staff, we were switched to another room - no hesitation or issues w/ the hotel staff - & the room was 100% better. The hotel wasn't maintained very well & our room was skipped by housecleaning, but the hotel's staff was beyond helpful & accommodating. This is one of those hotels where it's 50/50 w/ the rooms, but if you're not happy, all you have to do is talk to the hotel staff - like I did - & they'll help you out.

The staff were excellent. Liezel and Ashley drew us maps of where we needed to go, recommended a great restaurant and always had a smile on their faces. The very good full breakfast buffet is a treat and started our day off right.
