Welcome: I've never had a welcome like that before! Very impressive. Courteous and helpful without being nauseous. The warm hand towel was much appreciated.
Hotel room: lovely and very clean. Wonderful shower. Only minus was the shower door did not close properly.
Staff: All were excellent, whether on reception asking for directions or calling a taxi to an 'off the track' area. In the restaurant or rooms.Taxi driver was also kind. I was not over charged and he waited whilst I took photographs and reversed etc to provide me with better views.
Restaurant: I ate in all 3 nights. I had the lamb shank and it was very enjoyable. The seafood chowder was excellent - such a pity I only discovered it on my last night! At least twice I saw a family with young children enjoying their experience in the restaurant - they were quiet and very well behaved.

This was my second visit to this hotel. Amazing from greeting to farewell. Pool is sparking. The answer is always "yes" and everyone has a smile. There are drawing rooms to have a drink with friends and relatives late into the evening. Putter in the room is a nice touch. The rooms are quiet. The restaurants are wonderful. I can't say enough about this hotel. We liked it so much we booked one more night on our way home.

Delia and Fergus made us feel welcome immediately. The Grove Lodge is beautiful and comfortable. Both breakfasts were outstanding with a variety of homemade breads and pastries, fresh fruits, and cooked breakfast choices. Our hosts gave us advice on touring the area and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. We would not hesitate staying at the Grove Lodge again if we ever get an opportunity to get back to that beautiful part of Ireland.

Stayed overnight while driving around southern Ireland. Easy check-in and check-out. Welcoming atmosphere and lovely hosts. Location was great for walking around Dingle town, parking on street out front, and quiet night's sleep. Had a lovely homecooked breakfast before leaving and were even offered more tea/coffee and toast while we sat on for a while having a chit-chat to other guests.
