"One of the most pleasant hotel stays in a while. "
The hotel looks great and the room I was in was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and I loved the shower in the room! The heater in the room is the only complaint I had. It looks terrible on the wall and still made noise when it was shut off. This was a minor nuisance that I could tune out.
I also think that paying $12 per night is excessive at this hotel. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would gladly go back again.

The only thing missing was a complimentary breakfast. There was a tiny pool, an exercise room, and restaurant. Kind of a peculiar layout. You had to go all the way down the first floor to get to the second and upper floors instead of access from the lobby. I mentioned to the front desk that the door to our room must have been missing the rubber bumpers. The door closer slammed the door and it made a terrible noise. Once we were in the room it was like we had the hotel to ourselves. Maybe we did as I didn't hear a peep. I have never been to a hotel that had comfortable pillows so I'm not sure if I can complain about the pillows here. They were big thick hard pillows so if you like something softer bring your own.

We were on a family visit and stayed four nights at this hotel on this visit. It was our second stay, our previous being a year ago.
The hotel is newer, with lots of parking and easy access. The rooms are ample in size, clean and well equipped. One thing that stood out for me was the heating system. It kept the room at a very even temperature controlled by an easy to use wall thermostat.
The hotel includes breakfast in their pricing and we ate there each morning. Their hot and cold breakfast offerings varied by day and were broader than the majority of hotels (many dozens) I have stayed in over the years. They also had a larger than normal room for seating during breakfast. The single weakness I noted was that staff were sometimes unable to keep up with the resupply of food, dishes and utensils during peak demand periods. However, delays were never more than a couple of minutes.
As I noted earlier, this was our second extended stay at this hotel, and we will choose it again for our next visit. It has consistently been superior.
We used the pool a couple of times and enjoyed it immensely. The pool facility was very clean. The water temperature was pleasant and there was good seating when out of the water. A hot tub shared the facility and we enjoyed that also. A shower, washrooms and an abundant supply of towels rounded out our enjoyment of the pool. There is a substantiel exercise room next door but we did not use the equipment on this visit.
