When we arrived, our room was on the third floor, with no elevator. My husbands lung condition made it difficult to climb the stairs. After talking to the staff, they were able to transfer us to a first floor room which worked out very well. The staff offered to help us move our suitcases as well. Another commendable practice was the use of real plates, cutlery and ceramic coffee mugs in the breakfast area. We thought that was very helpful for the environment versus using styrofoam plates, etc.

Room was generally as advertised, however it had the following faults that really detracted from the overall experience.
1) The light bulbs were no more than 40 watts. With the lights on, I couldn't see into my suitcase. It was too dim to read by. I actually went to the hardware store and bought bulbs.
2) The second bedroom only had sheer curtains so when you actually wanted it dark it was too light to sleep.
3) The living room TV did not work.
4) The bedroom pillows were awful.
5) The bath towels were small and really worn out.
The above problems could all be fixed in about 15 minutes with an investment of about $50, which made it all the more annoying that management has never saw fit to make them.

The hotel is in town and was very close to our work place for a day. We drove very long all night and when we got Billings it was very early to check in. But a lady at reception welcomed us very warmly and let us check in in the morning. Our dog was happy for a giddy bag for her. Also a small dog park is a nice touch. Not a luxirious resort kind at all but very nice and comfortable. Oh and the hotel breakfast at a restaurant next door was very satisfying!

It has the best staff of any hotel in the area, very friendly and helpful. Nice furnishings throughout. Biggest negative is the old (window type) air conditioner/ heater in the room. It's loud and goes on, off, on, off all night long, even if you just press FAN with no temp. selection. Bad for light sleepers.

Our group didn't think I should have made this reservation. Once there, they wanted to stay longer! It is a wonderful place to stay, eat and drink. Love the Teepee. If we could have stayed longer we would have. Wonderful people, cabins, atmosphere and quiet!
