This hotel was a good value for the money. After staying at a nicely newer renovated hotel the night before, I realized that sometimes the older hotels although sometimes a little bit dated have better quality and character. My only complaint would be that the continental breakfast only contained bread items , I usually just grab a yoghurt or cheese because I eat gluten-free. I will however be staying with this hotel again if I return to Sudbury!

I was up graded to a suit which was nice,
I assume that the manager wanted to keep more of his cheaper rooms available,
Hot tub was out for the 4 nights I was there,
The suite was a nice design but dated and some furniture need up dating, and new carpets would help,
Room smelled of smoke which I put down to it having a patio door on the ground floor
( which was open when I checked in )
No free breakfast but you do get 10% off your meals, in room fridge was a nice size,
Bed was very comfy, the pay per view movies were $16 twice the price the local Cinema was charging,
Location on a bus route, short walk to laundry, most shops 1km away not much choice local for restaurants although a 2 min walk was a very good thia restaurant,

Beautiful resort, first night we ate at the bar and the food was amazing. Spent the day at the indoor/outdoor pool and the outdoor hot tub. Ate our second dinner at the chophouse and the food was unreal.

We have stayed at other hotels and motels in the area. We never book early, so choices are limited. However, despite our concerns, the Knights Inn (Brunswick Hotel) worked out fine for the weekend. Smallest check-in space I have ever seen, located next to the bar, but the staff person (in fact, all of them) were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts, although not included in the room, were good in terms of quality and choice and were not expensive. The beds (we had a single room with two queen size beds) were comfortable and good bedding. Carpet were not that clean, however, and there were some water issues in the bathroom but the hot water (really hot!) was plentiful. The air conditioner and the small refrigerator worked well and weren't noisy. Overall - decent, basic accommodations at a reasonable cost.
