"Comfortable, Economical, and WOW what a King Bed."
Rupert was very helpful when we arrived early from the USA @ 8 am. He directed us to a comfortable waiting area and we were allowed to check in around 10 am. We fell on the bed and felt relieved to have a safe zone. Valet parking is provided for a fee but is a must as I was told car insurance is not mandatory in NZ. You must get insurance, accidents happen.
Whenever we had difficulty with the safe or TV ( For DVDs) someone came straight away.
We had a one bedroom apartment and it suited us fine. We certainly didn't go to NZ to stay inside.
We were centrally located and had a blast.
Thanks Quadrant for making our stay very comfortable.

We checked in and discovered our twin room had two double beds. As we had three adults and really needed a queen and a double. The receptionist swapped the rooms and made us very happy. Good start. The bathroom was well appointed and maintained and the facilities excellent. Being close to the city is a bonus, close to eateries and shopping. A great experience in friendly service.

"Top notch hotel and friendly and attentive staff"
We had booked in for a night to attend a Masonic Ball being held in the Ballroom.
A most brilliant night was had by all thanks to the lovely surroundings and excellent food so ably presented by the serving staff.

I generally make an overnight stop here when travelling from Auckland to visit family on the East Cape. It's also 2 streets away from the main highway to Whakatane and beyond. Rooms are good with a super comfy bed and pillows. Has a mini bar if you need it but there's also a lounge bar in the lobby with room service also available. Staff are helpful and friendly and breakfast is excellent with a wide range of everything. A bit exy at $28 if you haven't included it in your room rate but they give you a $10 discount voucher to take the edge off. Pak'n Save supermarket is around the corner and I think there are hot pools close by within walking distance. A good hotel, comfortable and affordable.

Get a geyser-view room, definitely! You'll be looking down onto the most impressive geyser and mud pool in Rotorua. Not gonna lie-- the hotel itself is well past its prime. But, the rooms are quiet and warm and the beds are clean and comfortable, and I felt safe staying there. So it ticks all the basic requirements. Don't focus on the 'extras' that the hotel doesn't have--
instead just think of it this way: you're paying for the view. Which is priceless.
