It was first trip to Dubbo after about 20 years. I chose the motel because of its proximity to where I was working, plus had an onsite restaraunt, nice meals.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially when I had to cancel my last nights stay, because of a family medical issue back home in Newcastle. "I'll be back".

Completely what we expected for the $ paid. Not great having a family with kids in the room next door and them running up and down the walk way, but that's hardly the Motels fault and just timing. A little bit of road noise and we were the furthest from the main road, but otherwise all good.

Have previously stayed at this hotel on a couple of occasions and have been highly satisfied. Unfortunately this time I was rather disappointed. Was unable to access the wifi that was afforded to us. The toilet was dirty with marked stains and the air con worked intermittently.

I arrived mid week, so it was nice and quiet. I'd booked 2 rooms, one for a family member and her boyfriend and one for me. Mine was upstairs with great view looking into bush land, complete with Kangaroos - a real bonus for my niece visiting from the UK!
The room was clean and tidy, spacious and comfortable with a small kitchenette. One somewhat odd feature was the inclusion of a tumble dryer but apparently no washing machine? My niece's villa had a machine and tumble dryer.
One of two sliding doors onto my balcony was clearly labeled as "Broken, do not use" which didn't pose any problem but I feel I should mention it.
Apart from that, the water for the shower was variable; hot, then cold, seemingly impossible to get it to stay at a comfortable temperature.
My niece had the same issue with her shower and we compared our shower timings, in case we both were using showers at the same time but we were not.
We enjoyed evening drinks from the bar on the terrace overlooking the pool and golf course which was simply stunning. This was followed by dinner in the ground floor restaurant where we all agreed the food was delicious and good service.
Overall, it was a most enjoyable stay and I would probably stay again should I be visiting the Hunter again.
