I spent 4 nights in the hotel, room number (1735) . The room was modern , spacious and comfortable .The bed was a dreamy wow . The staff were very helpful and friendly . I'm deeply thankful to( Mustafa) for cleaning my room everymorning with a smile and elegance . The pool was amazing but a bit cold. The location is the only thing that I didn't like . U need a taxi to all important places. But the taxi service is allready available in the hotel. It costs about 10 turkish lira from the hotel to taksim square .

Excellent Hotel. Recommend staying in Executive Rooms with access to the Lounge. Lounge has a great view of Bosphorus, Marmara Sea and the Old City. Great pool facilities and friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast selection with very flexible hours.
Do not recommend staying in the Residence section.

Be prepared for 6:15am wake up from loudspeakers of mosques. Daily routine for residents of the city.
Only front desk staff speak English, majority of others even in restaurants do not. However they will do their best to accomodate you and try hard.
Spa facilities need some refreshment as humidity does take its toll.

"NICE HOTEL BUT ONLY GOOD FOR BUSINESS TRAVELLERS"
I cannot fault this hotel about anything. The staff are brilliant, the service is outstanding, the hotel is spotless and amazingly beautiful. The sea and mountain views are breathtaking.
We had gone to Izmit area only because my niece is at Kocaeli University and we had planned to visit him as a surprise. However after 2 days at this lovely place we had to cancel- it was too quiet for our liking.
The duty manager was very helpful and understanding.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Izmit on business..
