This property has a very unusual check in system. It is in the open courtyard at a door to nowhere. We were made to stand in the rain waiting for someone to turn up. After knocking on several doors looking for someone. ( our ground floor door was knocked on 3 times during our stay for the same reason) Quirky maybe, but not during a rain storm.
Once we were greeted everything was very good. Staff and room facilities were very good.

This hotel itself was be very nice, clean and with very professional staff. I especially enjoyed the piano bar late evenings for its quiet but elegant atmosphere. The location of the hotel would seem to place it out of range of the main square but it was ideal for a first time visitor like myself not trying to be overwhelmed by the newness of a different city. Walking time was about fifteen minutes to any of the tourist attractions I was interested in. Overall, the location worked for me, the high quality was what I had hoped for and the staff were very attentive. If there was an issue it may be its popularity as the front desk staff looked overworked on days when guests checked in with large groups. That would be my only gripe about my stay there.
