Hotel nice and staff were excellent! The only thing was that the room was a large corner room with windows next to the freeway making it truly annoying to try to sleep. Should have requested a room change after the first night but staying in the room with family so it was hard to move. If they put you in a corner room next to the freeway just trun around and go request a different room.

The location is amazing and perfect for a stay at Lake Travis.
The pool area is superb and redeems the hotels shortcomings.
Rooms are adequate. The rooms are located below the lobby level, with lake views. The balconies are enclosed. The corridors are dark. The whole experience feels dark and therefore a bit underwhelming. Quality of beds, pillows inconsistent. Linens were nice. Bathroom was just OK for this price range. Taxes are a bit excessive and the resort fee is excessive as well. Food choices are very limited. Restaurant patio is sublime, the inside space is nice, food OK, service very slow. We stay in this area 2 or 3 times per year. Provided we could spend a lot of time at the pool, we would stay again.

This hotel is in a really great location of downtown Austin - close enough to walk to lots of restaurants and bars. The rooms were good size, very comfortable beds and pillows. Staff was friendly, we requested a room change and met no resistance. Some cons - the rate is expensive (we paid $750 for 2 nights) and still had to pay $60 for SELF parking. And we never moved our car from the garage. A hotel that is that expensive shouldn't charge for parking in my opinion. The pool was nice, but needed to be cleaned. Our first room was clean, but did not view the outside and we could hear every elevator ding all night long. The cleaning staff is also exceptionally loud in the AM and woke us up both mornings. Aside from that, the hotel was nice overall and the location was the best part.

We stayed here 6 days while waiting for the moving van to arrive. Nice full service hotel with beautiful pool, good food, clean rooms and good service except in the bar where service ranged from indifferent to surly.
The property is dated. If it weren't for that I would give it a 4.5.
