No activities at hotel for adults and no laison with lake activities;3-12 year olds would love it this place. We thought we were coming to a place that was beautiful and active. We found beauty but were disappointed there were no activities and no one had any recommendations for us with outfitters. Beautiful lake and hiking trails but other than going to the dock and have 15 people want to take you out, no laison with an outfitter and the hotel.
Very disappointed and surprised breakfast was not included with the room- you had no other options.
The setting was most calming and the facility and individual units were lovely with great attention to detail. In the main area, the only place to go other than your room or the spa if it was raining, had not library, no books and not cards ("the children mess up the cards")- really? too bad for the adults!
Eating and drinking and sitting in the pool were the adult activities.
though beautiful and we enjoyed it, we were disappointed because we had planned to be more active. The children at the place had an amazing time- again, though, you had to pay for every water toy on the tiny lake.

super clean hotel, excellent staff, great drinks and food, close to everything, metro, metro-bus, public transportation plus you can walk to so many interest places, the check in at 3:00am was so easy for a family tired from the trip, they have the room ready. The surroundings could seem a little dangerous, but actually you can go for a walk an shopping crossing the main street at Walmart with not problems, good restaurants around you can chose from. The staff are very helpful, the service is great, the cleaning of the room was outstanding, no carpet, wood floor, bathroom very modern and clean, comfortable beds, no views of the city. I will recommend this hotel to anyone, business, vacation or family trip.

"Nice hotel, practical, close to industrial areas."
Service and food were very good, kind people, excellent taxi service.
The entrance is not very visible, and if coming from Mexico city you will have to go around the block. They have a strange procedure in which you have to go to Walmart for parking ticket validation! Insane!!!
If you are not driving it is great.

I use this one for business convenience, this area of the city is not for tourists, but if you need to be in Ecatepec the hotel is inside a shopping mall area that gives you plenty of safe choices for food and strolling after work.

no one wanted to carry our bags up to the second floor where all the rooms were. One guy finally helped one of us but the rest we had to carry! The bar menu has a long list of wines and drinks none of which they actually have. Got stiffed on a much more expensive bottle of wine that what we understood we were ordering. But, it's pretty and very close to the pyramids.
