The reservation for a King bed for 1 night, was met with, "sorry we don't have rooms like that". What do you mean by, "like that"? Response: "1 King bed, we have doubles". Ok, that will be just fine. Response: "Well you have to call Expedia and they have to cancel the first reservation and schedule a different one for the double."
The staff was kind enough to call Expedia for me (since my phone died during travel). They got everything taken care of and I am very grateful for that.
They were undergoing some renovations and unfortunately, nails and other debris was left on the floor in front of the torn apart desk (very hazardous). The telephone in the room did not work and I was unable to get consistent WiFi in the room.

Had a great time with my family at The Peabody. The ducks are wonderful. The pool/gym/hot tub were nice. The corner bar makes "the best lemonade on the planet" according to my daughter. And the location was convenient to all the sights and restaurants we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again.

Checked in Sunday afternoon line wasn't too long so I got in pretty quick. The rooms were clean but you could hear everything in the halls and some from other rooms. Old tv's and the minimum of channels were available.
At the casino I spent more time waiting in line at the one open cashier/players club booth. The 3 card poker shuffler wasn't working right, dealing what felt like a hand every 5 minutes.
