"Had and end room with a lovely view of Deer Island"
Enjoyed my stay. Housekeeping excellent. Long walk through cancer alley to get from front door to elevators. Non-smoking room but smoking on balconies around it prevented using balcony several times. Stingiest slot machines I have ever played. Like that a "private" pool area is available to guests since other pool has public access. Paid $30-$60 less per night than MicroTel and Hampton Inn I also stayed in on trip. Valet parking is GREAT! Courteous people who move fast bringing cars. $33 buffet was ridiculously overpriced for mediocre food. $6 milk shake and $6 bottle of water explained why people arrived with three or four coolers for weekend stay. Many good restaurants nearby serving excellent seafood at reasonable price. Trip to WalMart for water. Avoid Bubba Gumps at all costs. Overpriced and worse food I had on entire two week trip.

Hotel about 30 min from New Orleans. Room are clean, check in a breeze in a breeze. My wife dropped her pendant down the air conditioner they were able to get it out very helpful. No mats in shower dangerous slipped a few times they gave me towels for showering. But the worse was the bartender who go upset when we wanted to order drinks no wonder no business at bar. Few restaurants around area freeways very near safe location.
