Grounds of resorts are pretty. Rooms are cabins but who stays in their rooms anyways. Views of mountains are great. Plenty of things to do nearby. The waitress in the restaurant was so nice and provided good information on the area. Location is close to Bend and the Lava Caves too.

We loved our stay at the Riverhouse. While we didn't get the room we actually reserved, we felt the hotel staff made it right and we enjoyed our time there. They have a great bar staff! Jeff, Bree, Gabe and Jessica made our time there the best! Shanel and Blanchard were great as well! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoy Kah-nee-ta, was a bit of a problem with construction on the main entrance, Golf was good as usual and we really had a good time, Only disappointment was when we found the main restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesdays.
This place is off the main tract but a great place to relax and enjoy the unusual sites

We learned after our arrival that there was no longer a lodge as it had been destroyed in a fire back in June/July 2016. I believe we were 1 of 2 guests on the whole property although I only saw our vehicle during our stay. The closes town is about 35 miles away and although they served a hearty breakfast, the town had 2 locations to pick from. Definitely a place to get away from everyone, and I mean everyone.
