"Great room for a great price!"
I loved the bat window and huge room. The staff were very nice, and the salt water pool topped it off. I did think it'll be some hot food for breakfast but the free healthy snacks helped.

"A lot of bang for the buck."
Wanted a nice place to stay for three nights while visiting family in Scottsdale. The suite I rented was perfect for having a cocktail with my family: spacious, comfortable and very well maintained.

"Extended stay without the noise."
Had to find a reasonably priced Extended Stay for business and this one fit the bill. Priced Right but needed a few changes that would make it perfect. Some bugs on the floor but they move slow so I could get rid of them. The shower head trickled out slowly so it was nice to get home to my powerful shower head. Laundry room took care of the clothes I needed to wash at $2 A wash and $2 a dry. Refrigerator didn't really get cold enough to keep stuff cold so I had to throw my milk out the fifth day in. Nice thing was there were not many kids because they don't have a pool there.

"Amazing set up, rooms and views, "
Truly one of AZ's if not the country's great resorts. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for the real desert resort experience. Rooms are amazing, rustic and unique. Late July was a quiet time to be there and you could notice some small service issues with a smaller team working the summer months. Housekeeping was slow to respond to a request for towels but not all that bad. The food is excellent with great choices, but the prices are very high and the portions are small. No issues with small portions, but prices are significantly too high in most case - eg $6 for a side of toast at the SPA. Pool is also very small and crowded, even in July. If you want to be in AZ and lay by the pool and hit the spa, go to the Phoenician. If you want a balanced experience - golf, pool, spa, ambiance etc - You can't beat the Boulders. This was my 2nd trip here in 18 months and I am a Marriott Platinum for Life kind of guy - so staying at non-Marriott property is a big deal for me - The Boulders is worth it, especially if you don't want to venture too far from the property.

"Convenient Downtown Location, But Expensive Area"
The hotel is really cool, very hip, trendy vibe. Staff were all very nice, friendly and welcoming. The parking is a bit tricky and expensive. The hotel does not validate your cost, but offers a slight discount (from $30 to $23 for an overnights stay) and we had to spend 20 minutes driving around to find a spot, as most of them were reserved for the residents who also live in the building. There are not street parking options, or not any you would want to take your chances with, being downtown Phoenix for overnight parking, so you have no choice but to pay the cost. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean (although my boyfriend thought the pillows were hard, I thought they were fine). Also, cold AC which is a must in AZ. The rooftop pool is really neat and the views are awesome! We had been at another Valley resort the day before, where we could hardly enjoy the pool - so we were very appreciative of the more adult-scene at this hotel.

"Inexpensive, no frills stay"
You get what you pay for at this place. Staff are friendly and responsive but are not proactive. Three days and no housekeeping service. I had to ask for towels and drop off the dirty towels with the front desk. I didn't expect such a low level of service

Desert View is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Desert View, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Desert View hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
