The staff of the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was impossible to boost the temperature in the room even after the front desk was notified. There was an offer to move us to another room, but the chill could be endured on our short visit. We managed with the limited breakfast. The hotel is extremely convenient, but one could question the relatively high end price.

In a world of key cards and basic service, The Oxford was an extremely wonderful step back in time, to when guests were welcomed and trusted. We got a key, yes a key, to our room and each time we left the hotel was another opportunity to be welcomed at the front desk to drop it off and collect it. This allowed a connection with the staff. Doorman opened the door and greeted you as you entered and wished you well as you left. The rooms were spacious and well kept, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect with Union station a half block away and all the dining options it brings. While it is a little more than your normal chain hotel, it is worth it as you are definitely made to feel welcomed and appreciated. If I return to Denver, I will certainly be checking they have rooms available. Thank you to all the staff you made our stay wonderful.
