The hotel was in a location that was easy to access via the highway. Unfortunately, it was not near any shops that were within walking distance. You really need a car to get around. The hotel was clean, the staff anticipated needs and provided whatever was required.

We pick this hotel because of its location to the beach and the ability to walk to Delmar. Unfortunately it rained all the days we were there so we could not enjoy the beach and that made us noticed the rooms TV is very tiny. But if the sun had been out nothing about the room's short coming would have mattered much. Excellent location!

We stayed over Christmas week and loved the Del Mar Best Western!. All of the staff was so helpful and friendly. Our room, though small and just above the parking lot, had an ocean view and a small balcony. For the price we thought it was sensational. This will be our new home in Del Mar.
