The parking was minimal. We had to back our Subaru Outback into the driving lane in order to open the doors to remove clothing, etc. I realize that real estate is at a premium, however, the parking spaces were too small.
I understand the free-enterprise system; however, the price/night was exceptionally high.

We needed a comfortable hotel close to the UC Davis Large Animal Veterinary Hospital. It was both convenient and comfortable, although a 5 minute drive from the facility. Davis is not very large, so it's easy to get around. We booked a king bed suite. It consisted of a living room, bath and bedroom. Not large but adequate for our needs. When we checked in we were advised that a second floor room had been reserved but since there is no elevator we asked to be moved to the first floor which was not a problem. In the front, our room looked out into nice plantings and the hotel parking lot. In the back we looked at a very close wood privacy fence with vines growing on it. On the other side of the fence it was pretty industrial looking. The room itself was attractive but a bit tired looking.
