Pros: Great location, nice sized rooms with sitting areas, nice showers and towels.
Cons: Breakfast needs fresh fruit, you will pay $10 for parking a night, which used to be free, and don't stay in room 212, it is dark because your window faces the wall of the building which holds the hotel's heating equipment and runs 24/7 and is loud all the time. Worst room I've ever had and was there 3 nights.

Have stayed here a number of times when on business in the area. Only drawback is the railroad is very close and train traffic seems to settle down by midnight. Starts up again around 6:00AM, so depending on when you are getting up in the morning, you pay not need a makeup call! It is a nice place to stay with a great staff.

The included breakfast is good and has a waffle maker. The beds are clean and comfy. There's a jacuzzi and pool, no gym. The staff is friendly and the fellow guest in my experience were quiet and respectful. The hotel is near Applebee's, iHop, Carl's Jr, Del Taco, Jiffy Lube, and a has station. .all walking distance

Closer to Davis than Sacramento, which was perfect for our needs in this trip. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, but the hotel's proximity to the highway made the traffic whizzing by behind the property somewhat of a white noise. At least there were no loud guests or machinery near us. Would stay here again.

For those who don't know Davis, it's your classic cute little college town. This hotel is an old building and the rooms, breakfast room, etc. are tiny. It's well maintained though, and the staff is very nice. It's in the heart of downtown Davis, right next to UC Davis campus, and tons of good, cheap restaurants and bars within walking distance.

In Solano County, Dixon is between San Francisco and Sacramento. Its claim to fame came in 2007, when it made the Guinness Book of World Records by hosting the World’s Largest Corn Maze, complete with a phone line in case visitors got lost. Davis, 15 miles east of Sacramento, is known for its University of California campus. The city is also known for its farmers markets and for being very bicycle-friendly.
