The front desk gal was very polite and friendly. She gave us a lot of options where we wanted our room, granted, I don't think the hotel was full, so we had options, but can honestly say, we have never had someone ask us our preferences, if there were any available. We were concerned that the location might be a little noisy, as it's next to a truck stop and other gas stations, just off I-80. However, the hotel was quite. The room was really clean and bed was very comfortable. My husband even commented on how nice it was and he usually doesn't say much about the rooms I reserve. Certainly will stay there next time we need a room in the Davenport area.

We have visited the Blackhawk about 3 yrs ago for a special event in the Gold Room, but did this was a day visit and we did not stay overnight. Based on that visit, this was our first hotel choice for a recent visit to Davenport. The King Room was beautifully appointed. Hotel desk staff were friendly and super efficient. The hotel is connected to the Adler Theater which is convenient for special events. Sunday brunch was very good. Worth the visit for dinner, cocktails, and the incredible decor of this 4 Diamond award winner.

We stayed here last minute while trying through the country. It is conveniently located off of I-80. It is much nicer than a typical Super 8; it was clean, spacious rooms, good rate, and good TV choices. The only downfall was the breakfast. I did not expect much for a continental but I certainly expected more than a packet of oatmeal, stale Cheerios, and a waffle maker. There was no fruit and even our young son (who eats anything) would eat the Cheerios. They were very stingy with the food, as they would only bring out two oatmeal packets at a time. With that said, don't count on eating here but for the rate, the stay was fine.

We chose a handicapped room as we both have trouble with our knees, we were very pleased with our room. It was nice that we had a raised toilet, instead of feeling like we were sitting on the floor. The room was very quiet and comfortable. It is close to family in Davenport also.

Davenport blends the amenities of a large city with the charm and comfort of a small town. The largest of the Quad Cities, this Mississippi River city features scenic riverfront trails at Centennial Park and world-class museums. In addition to St. Ambrose University, Davenport has many neighborhoods dating to the mid-19th century worth visiting for their small shops and Victorian homes.
