This stay was super - on our way to Darwin we stayed at budget Ibis Mascot - this hotel had windows we could open - the staff were friendly and helpful - looking like they enjoy there job. So handy to train station too Yep we will be back to this one Budget is off our list for a number of reasons such as terrible staff terrible room terrible food and terrible bar.

Service overall has been good. However with Concierge service it could have been friendlier, I can see that they are busy with busy check out with a group just left before we came down. However a simple good morning or acknowledgement would have gone a long way instead of being a little moody.
In saying that all was good and we did enjoy our stay

Overall good experience. Only two minor issues: one of the hotel receptionists gave us a bit of a stuck up/judgemental demeanour when we initially arrived. Perhaps because we came in sweatpants & sweaters vs designer clothes (What can I say, I like to travel in comfort). The room was excellent, only issue I had was the bedding (the top sheet had stains on it, I'm not sure if it was properly washed or if the stains were permanent?).
Over all, would recommend.

Hotel blew me away (once I found it!), hotel was quirky, fun and the overall experience was excellent. my bed was a little too soft and the pillows too high which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep, however I should of asked for a lower pillow. would of been nice to have a choice in the room though. that aside, I really really enjoyed it. had dinner in the restaurant which was great. the lighting, colours and theme of the place was great. highly recommended.
