"Very close to the main attractions"
We had a great time there. Staff were very polite. Food could have been a little better. Piano player at the dinner was very good. There were no any facilities for the infant children. They couldn't provide baby cot and a high chair at dinning for my 13 months old child which was very disappointing. They should be prepared for all type of guest not only adults. The lounge was amazingly beautiful and aspisious. Overall a very good experience but for the above reasons I didn't feel it was worth a money which is sad to say because we really liked the hotel otherwise.

"Mayfair"
wife and I stayed at the Mayfair 3/17-3/20. Great hotel, staff and service were outstanding. Norgay library was wonderful. The rooms were spotless as was everything else. Food was very tasty. The hotel is perfectly situated. A short walk up the steps and you are on the Mall road. HMI is ten minute walk away. Everything is a short walk from the Mayfair yet it is really quiet. I recommended the Mayfair to all of our friends in Delhi.

"A good hotel"
Good food. Good location. Well located, but very narrow approach road, which was blocked by 2 cars parked on the road. We could not wait for the parked vehicle to leave due to traffic. Hence the taxi driver had to make another round in the one way traffic lanes to come back to the same lane.

"About 30 minutes north of Siliguri"
This is one of the more upscale hotels I've stayed at in Siliguri. Like many others in the region, it looks great at first, but the closer one gets, the more the flaws appear. I've stayed at this place on 3 different occasions over two years. Certain aspects of the interior are showing age, despite the fact that this is a relatively new construction. The atrium, for instance, is much better seen from below — looking down from the balcony, one can see that the ledges are filthy, the paint is peeling and the overall fit and finish is poor. Also, the glass elevator designed to give guests a panoramic view of the hotel's interior is inoperable. The breakfast buffet is good, but at lunch and dinner, the restaurant is routinely out of most of the dishes I'm interested in ordering. And we're not talking cheeseburgers, we're talking bog standard Indian fare. On a positive note, relatively fast wifi is now available in guest rooms. That makes a huge difference in productivity, and it's better implemented than most other hotels in the area. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little out of the city proper, which may be nice if you're just passing through to Sikkim or the Darjeeling hills. In summary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. For what it is and for the price it's just fine.

I had difficulty reaching the place as very few people know about this hotel. Comunication between the driver and the hotel staff also did not help. But, overall, a nice hotel with a very suppportive staff.

"Darjeeling hospitality "
We finally made it to Darjeeling after several trips to other parts of India and enjoyed our stay. It was too cloudy to see Kanchenjunga but we had a good time. The staff at Summit Yash Shree were super. The food was very good at the restaurant and their prices reasonable. There was hot water, a comfortable bed, TV, great view, good security, and very good Wi-Fi. We slept soundly.

Darjeeling is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Darjeeling, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Darjeeling hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
