We stayed two nights with two dogs while touring Bellingrath gardens and Fairhope. The staff were excellent room was large and reasonably well kept for a room that houses dogs. The location was very convenient with lots of restaurants within a 15 min drive.

The hotel itself was fine, it was clean & nice, Pool was clean & nice. Breakfast however was TERRIBLE. Waffle mix was like running water, there were no eggs, no sausage, they had biscuits but gravy was like water too. Orange Juice was empty. Dining hall was empty when we got down there & the girl "running" it was behind the front desk chatting with a co-worker instead of restocking. She was nice to me when I asked her for things (everything) , but I did hear her snap at others. She eventually got things caught up, but there was a 10 - 15 min wait to eat. Not good when you have "tourist attraction" reservations. We choose to stay at a different hotel our 2nd night in town.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We decided last minute to take a weekender, and this was the perfect spot for us to "get away" but not be too far from our 4 little ones. Really enjoyed the room. Ours overlooked Mobile Bay, and the view was very nice in the mornings.

Daphne, located on Mobile Bay, is 11 miles east of Mobile, Alabama, and 45 miles west of Pensacola, Florida. The nearby beaches of the bay and the Gulf of Mexico offer an abundance of recreational activities. During summer months, visitors flock to Daphne for “Jubilee,” a natural phenomenon when crabs, shrimp, and fish migrate into the shallow waters to be scooped into waiting nets and buckets.
