"Extremely helpful staff"
The staff, and in particular Derek from the front concierge gave excellent service. He helped us with our car when someone had keyed the side door of our car while we were on a days outing out of Dublin. He was terribly concerned and helped us find someone to buff and polish the damaged car door to eliminate the scratches. After our Westbury stay, we had a 4 day train tour on the Belmonde Hibernian. On return from the train trip The Westbury kindly let us leave our luggage at the Hotel during the day, as we were on a very late flight back to Australia. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Westbury to anyone staying in Dublin. Initially we had been booked for 4 nights in other accommodation in Dublin, but after two nights there, we cancelled and moved to the Westbury. The Westbury was such a contrast with helpful staff, cleanliness and facilities. Great value for money.

"Nice hotel in good location although very noisy "
Nice room with no view but good AC which was important because the street noise was objectionable. The lighting was terrible in the entire hotel.

" Great hotel, magnificent breakfast"
Great reception, very accommodating. Good spacious room only spoiled by the noise of the tram đźš‹ from dawn till dusk. (will ask for a room at the back when we go back) Food in general good but breakfast excellent, ( something for everyone except fussy Americans!) A great start to the day , I defy anyone not to find sufficient nourishment ( with the odd exception from across the pond !) Great base to explore Dublin and surrounding area from. Will definitely return.

Clontarf Castle Hotel

"Beautiful Castle!!"
I loved my experience at the Clontarf Castle Hotel. The staff was so friendly. We came right from the airport after a 6 hour flight and they were so accommodating by getting us rooms quickly even though it was only 10am. We had the buffet breakfast while waiting for our rooms to be cleaned and the food was amazing. After only waiting a hour, we were able to go to our rooms and they were so clean and comfortable. The hotel is just out side of center of Dublin, about a 15 min cab ride, but it was so nice and quiet being outside of the city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted a nice peaceful stay.

"Great hotel, staff were really helpful"
We arrived via Dublin airport to meet with family for one night, arriving early the fabulous team let us leave our bags while we went to check out the city. Check in was a dream, rooms were very comfortable. Drinks service in the bar was good. Breakfast was great however greeted by somebody looking at their watch at 9.30am 30 mins before breakfast was due to finish, told to find our own table, so had to wander around with the children trying to work out what was free/hadn't already been used and not offered tea or coffee. The breakfast experience was really surprising as the rest of the stay/staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Dame Street hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
