Stayed with my wife for 2 nights in this hotel and it was great. Check in was smooth, room was a bit small but enough for us. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Had to ask for slippers and shower cap and it was sent to the room instantly. Free tea/coffee in the room provided. Couldn't figure out how to work the safety locker box - would have been good to have a set of instructions somewhere in the room. Not a great selection of English channels on the telly but a minor point. Hotel bar is very good. Check out process was quick too and they allow storage of luggage for free after you check out for the rest of the day. Overall very positive. I'd stay here again.

It was a lovely and clean hotel, it was a little cramped in places however once you see the building in Amsterdam ita hard to avoid. The staff where extremely helpful expecially this lovely lady at the front desk who made sure our room was perfect for us. It was in the perfect place of the city. Right in the center which ment we could nip back to use the toilet as the toilets in Amsterdam arnt the nicest toilets ever.

Stayed for 5 nights in this hotel, it is decent but the beds are a little bit hard and lumpy. Not great options in the bathroom and the hairdryer was really weak and should just be thrown away. The TV is honestly awful and is so dated. The staff are really nice at this hotel and did everything they can to help when asked. You cant beat the location as it is extremely central, all you have to do is cross the road and you're in dam square.

Pocket Guide: Amsterdam City Centre Dam Square - Central Station Hotels
The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century). The oldest part of town, Oude Zijde, is famous for its Red Light District, but the University and the docks bring a different kind of colour and buzz to the narrow streets. Don't miss the Oude Kerk, the Amstelkring Museum or the paintings in the Amsterdam Museum.
