I choose to stay at LQ Inn when I travel because its affordable and for short stays it gives me everything I need. This location offered an airport shuttle so I was able to return my rental car early!!
I had a problem with my door lock upon checking in which was fixed the next morning. They offered to move me to another room but it wasn't worth it. I also found that the in room coffee pot was missing a piece so I couldn't brew my coffee but since there is a free breakfast I just grabbed coffee downstairs.
This hotel in particular had a really GREAT variety of breakfast items on the morning buffet. They even had make your own blueberry waffles in the shape of Texas! However, the eggs were really bad! I would suggest they either change brands or make sure the eggs are still within there usable date. I really dont think they were spoiled...but its possible..they tasted pretty bad.

This hotel was average and decent price for a one night stay. They attempted to renovate however with all the old still looks older. No perks including no ammenities like shampoo etc. and no continental breakfast. The clerk seemed rather burdened and was more interested in his phone but had been there for over 14 hrs while we were there so seemed tired. Decent place to lay your head for the price especially if you have an early flight!!

Stayed here 2 nights, room decor was modern and pleasing to the eye, room was clean, bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, (I'm very picky when it comes to beds and pillows). Beds were not too soft or to hard which is nice for me, and pillow was just right on the fluffiness, not too firm. I was very pleased for the price.
Loved the waffles!!
Only suggestion would be to have a greater choice on the breakfast items during breakfast.

Pocket Guide: Dallas Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Hotels
Of all the superlatives hoisted on Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, behemoth is most apt. The airport is America’s second largest in terms of land mass, a space big enough to fit all of Manhattan. Freeways link the airport to the rest of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, including the adjacent suburbs of Grand Prairie, Grapevine, and Irving. The airport is the main hub for American Airlines.
