"Highly recommend this hotel!"
My husband and I loved this hotel! The staff is so helpful..they go the extra mile. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices available. Having the ability to get free drinks and food at all times is unusual, Cold bottled water is available in refrigerators on every floor. The decor throughout the hotel is elegant and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!

"comfortable but noisy"
staff and amenities were thoughtful. however the hotel is noisy at night. other guests noises come right into the room due to door not being sealed tight in the frame and tvs being put on the wrong walls for neighbors peace. staff in hall way talks loud at 6am. other than this the place and staff are real nice. shower pressure was great. various dim and bright lights in room were nice.

"Very Good Hotel"
The hotel had all my information ready when we arrived, check us in quickly, the room was ample and well maintained, ample parking was available, the location was good, the noise was less than we expected given that it is located in the Mariachi plaza, good restaurant, two stores and a pharmacy next door and lobby staff friendly. Did not provide more than one electronic key and pillows at times were uncomfortable.

"Wonderful choice"
My wife and I recently stayed for about a week. It was the first time I had used the Fiesta Americana brand, but it will be my first choice when I return to Mexico. I was extraordinarily pleased with the professionalism of the staff and the attention to detail. The food choices were often better than the choices in the surrounding neighborhood. The room itself was very pleasant and very clean. One of the best factors is its location. My wife and I prefer walking and the hotel was midpoint between two major tourist destinations: Chalputapec and the Zocolo. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to go. In addition, the surrounding neighborhood is safe and offers a huge variety of food, banks, and services. We highly recommend the hotel and plan to use the brand again in the future.

"Hotel in the the heart of Mexico City"
The hotel is close to main buildings in the city and to the metro. Hotel personnel were helpful and polite. On Saturday the city is more noisy so, ask for a room that views the inner patio. Excellent hotel and price!

"nice hotel in historic quarter"
This is a modern hotel building located two blocks south of the Bellas Artes metro stop which one can use to go to the airport or bus station. There is a water tap of purified drinking water in the bathroom which is unusual for hotels in this price range. The room had a ceiling fan, new laminated "wood" flooring, a lock box, kleenex, lotion and shower cap as well as the usual soap and shampoo, and two hand towels along with bath towels and a bath mat. On the other hand the room was small, the flat screen tv was small and sat on the desk/dresser limiting space, and there was little room to set a suitcase if not unpacking and using the closet and drawers provided. Bedding was of the old type, the bed firm but ok, pillows flat. Internet was for each individual floor and worked well. When we stayed here on an earlier visit the room was much larger, so that seems to vary. Chinatown and the handicraft museum are just down the street on Independencia, coffee shops and local cafes south along Lopez.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Cuauhtemoc hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
