very nice comfortable hotel - extremely quiet! Lovely. Staff were really helpful. Rooms could do with a little more attention to detail - some of the lights were not working and the bath plug mechanism was out of order so impossible to remove after bathing. Mobile reception and Wi-Fi were shocking - could be a good or a bad thing!!

I'm glad we neglected to read the reviews before booking this hotel or it would've put us off. As it was we read them after booking and therefore were expecting the worst. What we found was a hearty warm welcome, great food and a nicely presented room. The only minus points were a very dated bathroom, an antiquated portable TV and a (temporary) loss of license but they had tried to make sure we had everything we needed in our room so full marks for that. There's really not much to complain about and we enjoyed our stay.

Myself and my partner stayed in this hotel as we were due in Manchester the following day. Parking was nice and easy, plenty of available spaces. The staff were very friendly, offered assistance where possible. The room was lovely, the heating was difficult to control and it was very warm overnight. The facilities within the room were excellent, lovely bathroom, great design and lovely big walk in shower. Breakfast the next morning was great, plenty of choices, often being replenished and everyone having breakfast appeared to enjoy it. The checking in and out was very easy.

Wonderful house and pleasant but inexperienced staff. Lack of attention to detail - no bedside table and lights. No towel rail in bathroom, or bath mat. No handle on toilet flush chain. Afternoon tea from visitors not cleared away by 9am the following morning...
Breakfast adequate but no yoghurt, muesli or fruit. Requests cooked to order - good
Advertised restaurant non existent so necessary to go out for evening meal

Predominantly known as a railway town, Crewe's history stems from its importance as a major junction and rail engineering base. The town is still fantastically connected and is a frequent stop for travelers heading to the Northwest of the UK. The expansive Queen's Park is a fine area for locals and visitors alike, featuring a lake with boat hire, an outdoor gym, and a golf course.
