We checked in for just one night since we were on the road, and asked for a quiet room. Rooms were in great condition, clean, and furnished with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was included. The hotel also has a pool, and although we did not get to use it, we saw other guests enjoying it.
Service was great; the family-run-business attitude prevails.

The room we stayed in was decent, Bathroom shower head needs to be replaced, also be careful to trackers with pets, our dog picked up fleas while walking her out front, not the hotels fault but just a warning.

We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. My sister found a sunflower seed in her bed and M&M's under the bed. We told the staff about it and they offered us another room but it was a short stay so we didn't want to move. When we returned to our room later in the evening it had a strong perfumey smell but the M&M's were still under the bed.

"Nice hotel between Crestview and DeFuniak Springs."
After we were able to relocate to the third floor from the second floor after our first night due to the very noticeable footfalls of occupants above us all went well. Our remaining three nights were quiet and pleasant. Third floor is quiet.

Crestview has the distinction of being one of Florida's highest points at 235 feet above sea level. The southern tip of the city shares a border with Eglin Air Force Base. The Old Spanish Trail Festival takes place in late April to honor a historical trade route which now parallels the current CSX railroad. Head west of town to explore the Blackwater River State Forest.
