Coming into London on an overnight flight, I arrived earlier than expected, and staff were welcoming and accommodating. The cafe manager, I think his name was Chandu, kindly served me some tea while I waited, and was exceptionally attentive and generous. I was able to check my email on the free computers in the lobby area. I checked into the room earlier than 2pm, which the front desk staff allowed me to do without extra charge, and I was not disappointed in the condition of the room--it had everything one could need for a short stay. It was very quiet and comfy. The only inconvenience on arriving was that I couldn't take advantage of the shuttle, because I hadn't booked it the day before (when I called from Gatwick, I found out it was "full" according to the front desk staff). Hence, I took a taxi to the hotel (11 pounds).

For a large hotel close to a main road, in a built up area, it is most satisfactorily quiet. We wanted a quiet evening, in an area close to some National Trust places we had for some time wanted to visit. For this it was ideal. It is easy to access, with a large car park, and a restaurant with good food.

"Brilliant hotel. Excellent staff and great rooms"
This is possibly my favourite hotel. It is always so clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are great, with plenty of room, a great shower and a beautifully comfortable bed. The only thing that seems to let it down is the poor air conditioning. The rooms are always warm and without the ability to open windows, they need to have a more efficient air conditioning system as it seems impossible to get the room cool enough. I don't want to labour that one point as overall the stay was fantastic but I feel the hotel needs to know about the rooms being too hot.

Booked a twin bed room for my wife and I for one night, using it as a stopover for an early morning flight from Gatwick. When we booked in, the hotel had us down for a single room. The reception staff were quite relaxed about the issue and allocated us a twin bed room.
The ensuite room was a good size with television, kettle, tea and coffee. There was a bit of noise from the car wash which was situated in the ample car park, but with the window shut it was hardly noticeable.
The hotel is in the middle of Crawley, with a plethora of pubs and eateries in the immediate vicinity. There is also a very large Morrisons Supermarket about 100 metres from the hotel.
So in short: a comfortable and well appointed accommodation ideally situated for Gatwick airport and walking to central Crawley facilities. Nearly forgot: there was free wifi access in the room.

Hotel is very well organised for an overnight stay before or after a Gatwick flight. Reception staff are really on the ball with timings, ordering taxi, leaving car etc. Decor is a bit tired and 1980s but is clean. Basic breakfast is fine - a bit like helping yourself in a friend's kitchen. We've stayed quite a few times and have left car here with absolute confidence. Will continue to do so.

I absolutely loved this hotel from the first moment I laid eyes on it. Imagine a country French style house completely gutted and remodeled in a modern zen style. Everything from the decor to the scented candles when you walk in is meant to make you feel calm and centered. The owner personally cooks breakfast to order each morning at whatever time you need. Conveniently located to Gatwick Airport, although we actually stayed for the Goodwood Revival Festival which causes all local hotels to book up a year in advance--I had to cast a wider net to find a place to stay and low and behold, this was perfect. All in all, a wonderful little bolthole to escape from the world.

Very impressed overall. Clean, quiet, comfortable.
Only concern was that food is very expensive and there was lack of
attention to detail - goats cheese was not warm and soft but cold and hard,
and triple fried chips seemed to have missed third fry - hard and not crisp.
I would use this hotel again but would not eat in the restaurant.

Whilst I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay near to the airport, I would say that the food was ok but not fantastic. My husband had fish and chips but the fish was two breaded triangles of 'fish', I had quiche with salad, the quiche was excellent but the salad was 90% lettuce with what amounted to half a tomato and a couple of slices of cucumber.
The room was great, clean and very comfortable with a pod like new bathroom - until the flush did not work without a great deal of jiggling. On reporting to reception we were told 'that's ok, somebody has already reported that'!!!
We got a deal but we would definitely not have wanted to pat the advertised £110!

Crawley is in West Sussex, and a main center of industry and employment approximately midway between London and England's south coast. England's second-largest airport, Gatwick, is located north of town.
