Firstly the staff absolutely make this hotel, they are amazing. Extremely helpful, friendly and they go out of their way to help you. We arrived around 11pm and had missed dinner but they had made up a bag of food for us to take to our room. This was a nice touch. We requested a ground floor room but one wasn't available until the next day. No huge problem but did mean that we needed to unpack and pack a suitcase.
The whole hotel is very clean. The food is actually very good considering it is buffet food. The hotel sufferes the same "towel on every sunbed and then they aren't used for hours" problem, but to be fair every hotel I have been to has this issue.
We would definitely consider returning back here for our holiday.

As my first holiday abroad I didn't know what to expect at all really, but it was amazing and the hotel and its surroundings were beautiful and felt safe at all times. The reception staff and bar staff were friendly and helpful and I was extremely upset to leave. If I was to go back to Lanzarote, which I very much plan to do after experiencing other destinations, that will be where I go and where I stay, no doubt about it. I really recommend.

"A lovely hotel close to beach, promenade & shops"
My partner and I spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Melia Salinas Hotel. A lovely 5-star hotel in Costa Teguise. We were looking forward to enjoy the Melia Salinas experience on our first visit to Lanzarote as part of our winter break. We had heard before about the Melia hotels but had not had an opportunity to enjoy their hospitality. At our arrival after a long journey from London, we were greeted warmly by a friendly face at the front office. After processing of our booking we were delighted to hear that the hotel was offering us an upgrade to one of their premium room. It was the best start to our holidays.
The interior of the hotel resembled an art gallery with paintings and art objects displayed everywhere. Sumptuous gardens, hanging plants, palm trees and water falls inside at the centre of the building surprised our senses, particularly when you had the sky as rooftop. The overall effect made it impossible not to admire the design and structure in front of your eyes.
Our room was on the 4th floor, overlooking one of the two pools and the ocean. The room was spacious, simple but tastefully decorated and had many of the amenities that we have come to expect from a good hotel, such as bathrobes, slippers, fridge and coffee facilities. The room was kept clean and tidy with towels and bed sheets changed frequently by our two dedicated and friendly hotel maids that we met during our stay.
The room offered an intimate open-air balcony/terrace protected by a glass screen th

Excellent location for all shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. If you want to hire something from a bike to windsurfer, it is all located within easy walking distance. Taxis and buses stop almost opposite. Simple, what more are you looking for?
The complex is relaxed and quiet, especially the adult block. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
All in all, you would be mad to look anywhwere else.

The room was rather dated, especially the bathroom and the sofa which was pretty much impossible to sit on as its so uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable and the poll areas were nice. The main issue we had was cockroaches in the kitchen area which nothing was being done about. Overall, done for what we paid (£88pp including flights, 6night), but would be annoyed if we had paid much more

Developed in the late 1970s as a luxury holiday playground, Costa Teguise is today no longer exclusive, but remains a very popular family resort. Low-rise apartments and smart hotels face onto a sheltered bay favoured by windsurfers – novices and experts alike. Its busy nightlife clusters around an “old village”-style square. Lanzarote’s only water park and its one golf club (a picturesque 18-hole course) lie within the resort’s boundaries.
