"Comfortable hotel with friendly/ efficient staff."
Stayed for nearly a week for rest, relaxation, sights and beach. Hotel is ideally situated for all these things and the staff in reception and elsewhere were invariably friendly and helpful in supporting and advising us. Hotel is very close to beach (and will lend beach towels for a deposit) and on a frequent bus route to the main parts of the city (which in any case is only 10/15 mins walk away. Breakfast is a splendid buffet with dishes, cold and hot, promptly replenished as necessary. Weather was perfect!

This hotel is typically Spanish in both style and furnishings, and occupies an excellent location on one side of a square in central Jerez. It was originally a large private house, but converted to a hotel. To gain access from the street through the impressive front doors you have to press the bell!
We loved this hotel's central location, with many places within a 10 minute walk such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel's owner/manageress is a delight, always willing to offer advice and information. You feel as though you are her special guests.

Very comfortable - huge room, lovely beds, very clean - bathroom excellent, perfect views from 4th floor. Only let down - no kettle HOWEVER on leaving I mentioned this and reception staff said I should have asked, maybe they could put notice in room about this. Other than that excellent - breakfast usual hotel buffet. Have already recommended to several friends, including my brother who lives near Seville and likes to know where would be good to suggest to people wanting beach location. Will definitely go again - when we were there (mid June) temperature was 45 degrees so too hot to do much, very accessible to go anywhere on buses to old town or trains.

The hotel is in a really good location for the Equestrian school, and for the Sandeman bodegas. The staff were extremely helpful, and the restaurant recommendations were first class. Our room was large, and clean, with good facilities. However the twin beds were very hard.

We spent 5 nights here in July as it was so hot we made good use of the beautiful pool- you get towels to use for a refundable deposit. Only downside was the cost of the drinks in the hotel, in comparison to the rest of Jerez which is not expensive at all the mark up on drinks on the hotel was huge. E.g. A small beer in the hotel was €4 in town a large one was €1.5.
It's approximately a 15 minute walk into town. Which has some incredible restaurants and not expensive.
Hotel was spotless with comfy beds and lots of hot water and a decent shower.
We didn't eat in the hotel as we prefer to mix with the locals.
We had a fabulous time and wouldn't hesitate to return.

This hotel was mostly great but there were a few things that make me think twice if I would stay here. There was some great hotel staff, like Arturo, who checked me in and took me up to my room to show me how everything worked, recommend some places to see and restaurants. Very friendly. The Pool (Franco?) bartender and lifeguards were all nice and friendly. My problems were one day the made placed my clean shower towels on top of the bidet. This is where people clean their butt's after taking a poop. I am a RN and this, to me, was a huge infection control issue. Secondly, the staff at the breakfast were supposed to offer you a pot of coffee (they did on the first day, after I had finished my breakfast), but the 2nd day I had to get up and go ask someone because he ignored me and never checked on me, the 3rd day the lady did as well, and yet, there was only myself at a table and one other table with two people. She didn't bother to check on either table. She even went into the other room to laugh and talk with the server for that room. Thirdly, at the bar/restaurant downstairs, the lady tried to sell me a premium gin and tonic with only a little bit of alcohol in the bottle and she said "that's all we have". I had to tell her to just get me a different gin, so I could have the drink how it's supposed to be made.

The hotel didn´t seem to be completed. It was a bit like the Marie Celeste. Getting to the dining room was difficult for me, recovering from a hip operation, and finding stairs without hand rails difficult.

We have just stayed 4 nights at this hotel and have really enjoyed it. We had a Junior Suite which was large with a separate sitting area and dressing room. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained.
There was a good selection at breakfast and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would use this hotel again, especially for the location.
