The hotel was clearly undergoing repairs when I stayed, which I didn't find out until I made the 6+ hour drive to get there.
I booked this hotel because I was seduced by the pictures of the restaurant and bar on the hotel's website and thought I was getting a great deal for the price I was paying. As it turns out, many of the hotel's corridors were still undergoing renovations as was the hotel's restaurant and bar. This turned out to not be a big issue as I was in town to visit nearby Ithaca and managed to get dinner and drinks in the very good Ithaca establishments. That said, if you're in Cortland/Ithaca on business, I wouldn't rely on this hotel's room service or in-hotel restaurant.
The room was nicely sized and clean at least. Overall the hotel was quiet; I was fairly convinced I was the hotel's only guest that weekend.
All this in mind, I wish there was a way Expedia could report on the usability of the hotel at the time of booking.

Very nice and reasonable hotel, within walking distance of several good restaurants. Also a Wegmans grocery store directly across the street. Recently renovated and super clean, this hotel is perfect for a weekend visit to Ithaca College less that 4 miles away. I have stayed here before and I will always stay here when I visit Ithaca.

Cortland boasts both scenic beauty and historic charm. Lime Hollow Nature Center offers miles of walking trails, and the Finger Lakes Wine Region starts to the west of the city. Concerts and outdoor gatherings can be found at Courthouse Park or at the Marketplace Mall in the center of the city, and the Greek Peak Ski Resort is located nearby.
