"Classy comfort. Great location "
You cannot get better location. Right on Corso Umberto. Surrounded by night life and shops. Plus. The terrace bar has the best sea view imaginable. It's the perfect place for sundowners. Now the bar doesn't come cheap. But the service and canap├ęs and view are worth it. If they aren't worth it to you you will find it expensive. The rooms are fabulous with amazing views and super Aqua Di Parma products. No bath in our room but huge walk in shower. No tissues either which is unusual these days but hardly a big deal. The staff are smiley friendly and helpful. We lived it so much. A d will go back Very highly recommended indeed.

Hotel Victoria is a historic hotel that has been renovated well to provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, but maintain the charm it must have had when Oscar Wilde stayed there. The room was spacious and the bathroom had enough elbow room to comfortably get things done. I wished for more space in the shower stall, but I that wish everywhere I stayed in Sicily and Italy, so it was very much on parr. The room included a refrigerator, safe and very surprisingly several conveniently place electrical outlets. It also had a small table and two chairs. The staff was friendly and breakfast was more than adequate - cereals, yogurt, juices, made to order cafe, pastries, breads, sliced meats and cheeses. It's a bonus that the hotel has an elevator. for moving bags up to rooms. It's small, but does the job. Be warned, that while this a great feature for accessibility, there are about a dozen stairs from the lobby level to the elevator. The location was fantastic! It's right on Corso Umberto, where all the action was. It was a few minutes to Porta Messina, a good pick up point for tours and in the other direction was the lively Piazza IX Aprile. It was a short walk to the beach cable car and an equally short walk to the Greek Ampitheater. Our room faced Corso Umberto and while there was street noise in the evening, it was a white noise that was easy to ignore -- my mother says that she didn't hear the noise at all.

"Fab hotel located in the centre of Taormina."
I went with my sister to this hotel which is located in the centre of Taormina, it is a delight and I would throroughly recommend. If you love amazing restaurants and shops, fashion and culture, people watching and being able to visit a range of excellent tourist attractions such as Mount Etna and all the amazing churches, theatres, villages etc etc. I could go on forever. It is really worth experiencing and I cannot find a negative to our weeks stay.

"Great stay in Taormina"
What a stunning apartment. The decor and artwork were lovely. We had a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. The bedroom was upstairs but has a second toilet upstairs as well as a full bathroom downstairs. There was a lovely shady garden to relax in. The apartment is almost in the Duomo Square so perfectly located for getting anywhere in Taormina. The town itself is beautiful with amazing views, although so overwhelmed by tourists it's hard to find the " real Italy". We prefer the smaller out of the way places with few tourists but Taormina is a must see and this is a perfect place to stay for this.

"Small, fantastic hotel in the "Old Town""
Spent a memorable four nights during Christmas at this beautiful hotel. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. The front desk staff answered all of our questions and helped us make dinner reservations and arranged airport transportation. Gabriella in the bar was a pleasure to interact with; friendly and always smiling. The hotel is in the perfect part of Taormina, surrounded by good restaurants and lovely shops. We would highly recommend El Jebel.

"central, flexible and an amazing place to visit"
Room had a kitchen in a cupboard (two rings, no oven) and a terrace with a view towards the Roman amphitheatre. Breakfast was across the road and up some steps with plenty to eat and very helpfull staff. In the middle of the town, great to wander along the pedestrian area, and buses not too far away to explore the rest of the island. Would definitely book again!

Corso Umberto is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Corso Umberto, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Corso Umberto hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
